ANZJPH

The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health is a peer reviewed, multidisciplinary, open access journal produced by the Public Health Association of Australia. Covering public health issues it is published six times per year, and is overseen by an editorial board.

ANZJPH (now an official Q1 Journal) has an impact factor of over 2.0, and its citation rankings are 98/186 (Public, Environmental & Occupational Health) 60/170 (Public, Environmental & Occupational Health (Social Science)).

The journal publishes papers on Early View prior to being assigned to an issue.

Since the journal became Open Access in 2017, its downloads increased significantly. In 2019 there were over 1 million downloads. Of these downloads, just over 50 percent were downloaded in Australia and New Zealand. The rest came from across the world, with the largest group coming out of the USA at 20 percent.

Contribute

Accepted articles incur a fee. If the first author is an individual member of the Public Health Association of Australia or the Public Health Association of New Zealand the fee is $600. If the first author is not an individual member of either organisation, the fee is $2,640.
