Contribute

All Public Health Australia members are invited to contribute to the Intouch Public Health blog in areas in which they have expertise.

The views expressed in Intouch do not necessarily represent the views of PHAA. We regret we cannot publish all articles submitted, so must assess them based on suitability and other scheduled articles.

Intouch articles are directed at a general audience. Therefore, authors should ensure that their blog avoids jargon and overly academic language.

Reference lists are not necessary; however, authors should include in-text hyperlinks to their sources.

Contributions must include:

  • a suggested title (which editors may change)
  • between 800 – 1,000 words
  • author names and affiliations
  • social media handles for cross-promotion, if applicable
  • A declaration of any conflict of interest.

You may include a feature image to accompany your article. Otherwise, a suitable image will be selected by our communications team.

Once you have completed the form below, we will review your submission and advise within one to two weeks whether it has been accepted.

All articles will be edited prior to publication. Authors will have the opportunity to review for final approval.
